Need urgent help? Eventinel cannot dispatch responders. Contact the appropriate local emergency service if anyone may be in danger.
Contact support
Email eventsentinel@gmail.com. Include your app version, device model, operating-system version, what you expected, and what happened. Do not send a private key, recovery phrase, signer secret, or password.
Sign-in and keys
Eventinel supports Nostr accounts and supported external signers. Confirm that the public key shown in the app is the account you intend to use. Eventinel support cannot recover or rotate a lost private key. If an external signer fails, check that signer first and then retry Eventinel.
Location and maps
Nearby results require foreground location permission or a location you choose while reporting. In system settings, allow location “While Using the App.” Eventinel does not need background location. If the map is blank, check network access and retry after the app returns to the foreground.
Notifications
Enable notifications in system settings and confirm that the app has network access. A notification may refer to an incident that is no longer available from a configured relay. Eventinel will not open cached incident content unless its current authority policy allows it.
Incident reports and public media
Publishing requires a signer and a reachable relay. Media upload also requires an approved media server. Public reports are Nostr events, and public media may be stored by independent Blossom servers. Review the selected location and media before signing because Eventinel cannot guarantee deletion from decentralized services.
Private media reports
Choose “Report media privately” on eligible incident media, select a reason, and optionally add context. The media is hidden for you immediately. If the private review service is temporarily unavailable, Eventinel keeps a bounded local queue and retries when you are online. Do not include secrets or unrelated personal information in the optional note.
Offline and reconnect behavior
Cached public incidents may remain visible offline when the app's authority policy permits. New posts, media, comments, private reports, and notifications need service connectivity. After reconnecting, return the app to the foreground and allow relay status to refresh.
Privacy and deletion requests
See the Privacy Policy choices section. To request access to or deletion of private service records, email support with your public key and never your private key. Eventinel may require a signed challenge to verify account control. Public events or media retained by independent Nostr and Blossom servers may not be removable by Eventinel.
Responsible disclosure
Report a suspected security issue privately to eventsentinel@gmail.com with “Security Report” in the subject. Do not include active secrets or unnecessarily sensitive personal data.
